Understanding Binance IOS
Hey all, I originally had binance Android and now I'm using binance IOS and I'm coming to find the app significantly different. 1) I can't seem to find USDC anywhere to trade. I see the USDC deposit wallet, but I can't trade usdc to usdt like I normally used to. 2) The volumes seem to be wrong when looking compared to my Android. For example on my Android the volume for BAT/USDT is 8+ million while on iOS the volume is 57,242 Can anyone explain these discrepancies?
I have a Binance account and used it trade until forced to move the the BinanceUS exchange. Account is still active but I moved all my funds. I created a BinanceUS account and now use that one to trade funds using the BinanceUS exchange. No issues here, works the same as the other Binance exchange with less offerings. I have recently set up a 3Commas account that connects to Binance by creating a Binance Trader account (which is a different account than my BinanceUS account or my previous Binance account). In order to use 3Commas trading tools you deposit funds which are stored on the Binance Trader account (3Commas acting as a broker). I am not sure I cannot connect one of my current Binance accounts instead creating a third account but what I really want to know if which exchange wallet are the funds stored on, Binance or BinanceUS? Also which exchange is Binance Trader using, Binance or BinanceUS (volumes and prices are different)?
@cz_binance: @melfalou @cryptophilip Please understand: @Binance has 0 (zero) involvement in this. API knowledge is public too. @Binance (or anyone) can't prevent people from placing sell orders, and run what they call an IDO. Decentralized this much at least.
I had 92 BNB in the morning When I noticed BNB going down I sold all 92 BNB to BTC Then I bought again BNB with BTC Once again I sold BNB to BTC And for the last time I bought BNB again with all BTC Now I have only 90 BNB They say the fee is only 0.05% How did I lose 2 BNB ?
Hello, I've been in crypto for a while now and initially registered with Bittrex and had to agree with doing KYC. As I understand Binance does not require it although the trading volumes are limited this way. As the complaints of locked funds of people that already did KYC is increasing I want to transfer my funds to Binance. But I wonder if Binance will ever ask for KYC to withdraw cryptoassets. And if not, what would be the advantages of completing KYC on binance apart from higher trading volume? I do not mind to complete KYC but It's pretty straight forward I won't be doing that if it isn't needed as private information is something to be cherished. Thanks in advance!
Binance and Cosmos Network - Question about interoperability
Hello dear people of Cosmos, As far as i understand, Binance chain is being built with Tendermint consensus mechanism at its core. Does this mean that Binance chain A) will be able to communicate with other blockchains built on tendermint B) can be considered a future "zone" for Cosmos network? Thanks :)
John wants to open a x3 leverage on ethereum. He moves 10 eth (400$ each) from his spot wallet to margin wallet, He then borrows 20 eth ($8000) of Binance that has an hourly interest rate. He sets a stop-limit order for 30 eth at Stop- $300 Limit- $280 a pop. This acts as a stop loss. He holds them 30 eth in his margin wallet for 1 year. Eth moon, yay! He sells 30 eth for 8k a pop in peak bull run. He goes to his margin wallet and clicks repay. Here he repays $8000 in ethereum (1 eth at current imaginary price) plus the interest. John then buys lambo. Is there anything wrong with John's plan? Does he need to move the 30 eth to his spot wallet before selling them? Can the loan be relayed in usdt or must it be in eth? Could he, if he was so inclined sell 20 eth after borrowing them for BTC? Then sell the btc in a year's time. Or is it locked in the assets that was borrowed? Is this flawed or is this the proper way to use leverage on binance? Asking for a friend lol. EDIT: As per the comments below John is wrong. John should sell his 10 eth for USDT, then move $4000 USDT to his margin account. Here he borrows $8000 USDT for a total of 12000 USDT. With that 12000 USDT he buys 30 ethereum and sits on it for a year. He sells the 30 ethereum for 8k each (in his margin wallet), repays the 8000 USDT plus interest. John buys lambo
