I have funds in Binance and I have not verified my identity. Should I verify my identity, or will that risk my funds, since I am a US citizen? Also, should I just move my funds to Binance.US and then verify my identify? Please and thank you!
Which is more secure? I know everyone says hardware wallet, but let's face it, some people are going to use weaker options. I'd like to hear some thoughts on those options. To me binance seems more secure because I can set up 2FA and whitelisted addresses (limits withdrawls to addresses I've approved via 2FA). Trust wallet has a pin I enter everytime I use the wallet, but that seems to be the only verification step available. If you had to choose between Binance or Trust wallet for hot storage, which one would you choose?
Binance vs ByBit vs Bittrex vs Bitfinex vs Kraken vs Bitmart vs Probit.... (and so on), which ones are the "real deal"?
Hi guys, i've been away from the crypto world for a while (used to be very into it since late 2016 to late 2018), and i recently started investing in crypto again (long story short: back in 2017 i had no money and tried to become a "Bitcoin millionaire", then the whole thing went down and i had to reinvent myself, so i started an online business and 2 years later i'm almost a millionaire so i started investing in crypto again, cus i can afford it for real right now). I'm also getting into trading as a side business, i already have 2 side businesses (my ex core-business and another really developed business) but i don't actually spend a lot of time working actively, so i thought i might add another stream of income from trading. In 2017/2018 i used to trade on Bittrex, Hitbtc, Kraken and Cryptopia (that doesn't exist anymore) and as things have changed a lot i was wondering if any of these brokers/exchanges i mentioned is actually an unreliable one with some good marketing on it or if they're actually good brokers, i'd also like to know if the ones i used to use are still valuable, i kinda trust Binance as it was already big back in the days too but never really had to use it. But how about the others?
Binance
ByBit
Bitfinex
Bitmart
Probit
Kraken
HitBTC
Bittrex
COSS
Poloniex
AEX
Bitstamp
I know each one has altcoins other might not have so if you really need to buy that coin all you have to do is register to a certain exchange (i mean, i registered to AEX to buy an altcoin in 2017), but except for this, are there any notoriously unreliable websites among the ones i mentioned? And also, are there any other reliable exchanges?
[ 🔴 DELETED 🔴 ] Topic originally posted in Bitcoin by nut__sackington [link] Hey all, I've closed my account with Coinbase because, well, they suck. I made a Kraken account but found that their ACH partner Etana Custody is extremely invasive with personal information. Now I've narrowed down to Binance and Gemini for where I will buy crypto from. How do these compare to each other? My main concerns are privacy--I'm fine giving my state ID and everything, but some of the privacy agreements look real sketchy these days, saying things like "...and any other means of tracking, potentially using 3rd party services" (obviously not verbatim lol, but vague statements like that which leave a lot of room for data collection). I don't mind waiting a few days to be able to purchase and send coin after an ACH deposit.. but I'd like it faster than the entire week that Coinbase makes you wait. How do you all weigh these pros and cons when deciding where to buy/trade? Any thoughts on how Gemini and Binance compare for US residents? Edit: If anyone uses these markets, how much of a hassle was it to successfully on-ramp fiat with ACH? Extra verifications/applications/etc. ? nut__sackington your post has been copied because one or more comments have been removed by a moderator. This copy will preserve unmoderated topic.
